Chhattisgarh government will make law on religious conversion

In a government school in Ratanpur in Bilaspur division of Chhattisgarh, an oath was allegedly administered by the head master to the school children of not believing in Hindu gods and goddesses, after the video of which went viral, a controversy has started in the entire state. Reaction of BJP leaders is also coming to the fore regarding this. In the same sequence, Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade, who reached Bastar, expressed objection to this action of the head master and said that a law should be made in the state regarding religious conversion.

Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade says that it is very important to explain to those who are carrying out conversions or there is a need to motivate the children first. So that children do not follow any religion other than their own and do not get influenced by anyone else’s. She said that Deputy CM Vijay Sharma has also talked about making a law in the state to stop religious conversion and I also fully support it. Along with tribal areas, cases of such conversions are coming to light in the plain areas also. There is definitely a need to make a law in the state to stop this.

Minister Lakshmi Rajwade reacted to Alka Lamba’s statement

Actually, Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade has reached Bastar on her two-day stay. On the first day of his stay, the minister held a press conference in Jagdalpur. Recently, National President of Mahila Congress Alka Lamba had reached Raipur. Where he had said that women should be given a chance on 4 out of 11 seats in Chhattisgarh in the Lok Sabha elections. Reacting to this statement of Alka Lamba, Minister Lakshmi Rajwade said, “Bharatiya Janata Party had followed the women’s reservation roster in the Assembly elections also and this time also women can get priority in the Lok Sabha elections. Minister Lakshmi Rajwade said. Said that BJP can field women candidates on 4 or more seats out of 11.

‘Ready to eat work will be available soon’

Apart from this, he said that the state government is making all efforts to implement the benefits to be given to the women of the state under Mahtari Vandan Yojana as soon as possible. He said that efforts will be made to implement this scheme before the Lok Sabha elections, efforts for this are ongoing. On this occasion, Lakshmi Rajwade said that during the BJP rule in the entire state, women self-help groups were given the work of ready-to-eat, but Congress had handed it over to the Seed Corporation during its government. This time, with the formation of the BJP government, the government is again considering handing over the work of ready-to-eat to women self-help groups. Certainly, after discussing this with the Chief Minister, initiative will be taken to ensure that women self-help groups get ready-to-eat work again.
