Regence. A volcanic eruption has occurred in the Reynes Peninsula of Iceland. Due to this, the Blue Lagoon and the nearby town of Grindavik have been evacuated. Media reports say that the lava from the volcano is spreading rapidly in the northern area of Grindvik. Earlier also on February 8, there had been a volcanic eruption here. Due to the volcanic eruption, there has been a crack up to a distance of three kilometers. The Regens Peninsula is located just an hour away from Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland.
