Ex INC spokesperson & Leader Shri Rohan Gupta, Ex Congress Youth Leader Dr. Jahanzaib Sirwal, Shri Gurpreet Singh Maluka, Former IAS Smt Parampal Kaur has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of BJP General Secretary Shri Vinod Tawde, Union Minister Shri Hardeep Singh Puri and National Media Co-Head Dr Sanjay Mayukh at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday.
BJP General Secretary Shri Vinod Tawde welcomed Shri Rohan Gupta, Dr Jahangir Sirwal, former IAS officer Shrimati Parampal Kaur, and Shri Gurpreet Singh Maluka, into the BJP. Shri Tawde stated that these leaders, along with others, have decided to contribute to the ‘Viksit Bharat’ vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Vinod Tawde criticized the opposition for not just aiming to defeat, but to eliminate the Prime Minister. Shri Tawde also highlighted RJD leader Laloo Prasad Yadav’s daughter Misa Bharti’s statement about putting Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in jail. Furthermore, Shri Vinod Tawde mentioned the attack on BJP candidate Shri V. Murlidharan’s convoy in Kerala and the failure of the CPI(M) to disclose details of their 80 undisclosed bank accounts in Kerala. This indicates that the opposition is making every effort to stop the NDA from crossing the 400-mark, but all their efforts have been unsuccessful.
Former INC Spokesperson Shri Rohan Gupta, Dr. Jahangir Sirwal, Ex-IAS officer Smt Parampal Kaur, and Shri Gurpreet Singh Maluka expressed gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah for welcoming them into the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Shri Rohan Gupta stated that they have joined the BJP under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to contribute to nation-building. Shri Gupta criticized INC for deviating from its original ideology of nationalism and Sanatan Dharma and lacking any vision.
Smt Parampal Kaur mentioned that she was influenced by the development work done under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Consequently, both she and her husband, Shri Gurpreet Maluka, have decided to join the BJP.
Shri Jahangir Sirwal stated that the successful removal of Article 370 by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has integrated Kashmir as an integral part of India and presented a new image of Kashmir to the world. Inspired by the Prime Minister’s commitment to establishing democracy in Jammu and Kashmir. All the leaders joining the Bharatiya Janata Party have pledged to contribute to the journey of building a developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda.
