Union Home Minister Amit Shah while addressing public rallies in Mandla & Katni

Follow us on:

Hon’ble Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah addressed two mega public rallies in Mandla and Katni in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. Shri Shah emphasized the remarkable achievements of the BJP government under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during the past decade and called for the re-election of the Modi government for the third consecutive time with a resounding majority in the upcoming elections. During the public meeting, Shri Shah underscored the corruption and dynastic politics prevalent in the Congress government and the INDI alliance. During the event, MP Chief Minister Shri Mohan Yadav, State BJP President & Khajuraho Lok Sabha candidate Shri VD Sharma, Cabinet Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya & Shri Prahlad Patel, Mandla Lok Sabha candidate Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste and other leaders were present.

Shri Shah emphasized that with the Lok Sabha elections approaching, the people of Mandla have a crucial decision to make. The choice lies between two corners: On one side, the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, and another side, the Congress. While the INDI alliance prioritizes promoting their family members, PM Shri Narendra Modi’s vision is to serve and empower the poor, Dalit, and tribal communities.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation highlighted that in PM Shri Narendra Modi’s first speech, he pledged to prioritize the upliftment of the poor, despite skepticism from many newspapers. Now, after a decade, the results speak for themselves as 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty, 95 lakh farmers in Madhya Pradesh alone have benefited from the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, 70 lakh women gained access to tap water, 4 crore people have received health coverage of 5 lakh per year under Ayushman Bharat Yojna, 80 lakh toilets have been constructed, 88 lakh cylinders distributed under Ujjwala Yojna, and 42 lakh poor families have been allocated houses under PM Awas Yojna. The BJP government has distributed free food grains to 80 lakh people nationwide through the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has undertaken numerous initiatives for the welfare of the poor.

Shri Shah pointed out that during its 55 years of rule, the Congress did nothing for the tribal community. In contrast, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi made history by appointing a tribal woman Smt Droupadi Murmu, as the President of the country for the first time. He emphasized that the Congress has consistently betrayed the tribal community. However, it was during the BJP government of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee that the Tribal Ministry was established. Also, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi declared Birsa Munda Jayanti as ‘Tribal Pride Day,’ marking a significant step towards honoring and celebrating the tribal heritage. Under the BJP government’s leadership, the implementation of the PESA Act has been prioritized, with notable achievements on the ground in Madhya Pradesh. The establishment of numerous Eklavya schools and the allocation of approximately Rs 1 lakh crore as District Mineral Fund demonstrate the commitment to the holistic development of tribal areas. It’s noteworthy that while the BJP focused on empowering tribal communities, the Congress introduced the Dynasty Management Fund, diverting attention from the welfare of tribal regions.

Shri Shah stated that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi desires the country to progress, but the leaders of the INDI Alliance want their children to succeed. TMC leaders like Mamata Banerjee, Sharad Pawar, Stalin, and Sonia Gandhi, among others, aspire to elevate their children to power. Such leaders, who only think about their family’s welfare, can never think about the welfare of the poor, youth, marginalized, and women in the country. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi can think about the welfare of the poor, youth, marginalized, and women in the country. The BJP government has fulfilled all its promises. Under the BJP government, the country’s economy has moved from the 11th position to the 5th position globally, and by 2027, the BJP government will make India the third-largest economic power in the world.

Union Home Minister mentioned that for 55 years, Congress hindered progress in the Ram Mandir, but in five years, under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Ram Janmabhoomi verdict came and he performed the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Lalla on January 22. Shri Shah highlighted the upcoming Ram Navami celebration, where Ram Lalla will celebrate his birthday at his home after 500 years. Shri Shah emphasized that besides the Ram Mandir, projects like the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, Mahakal Corridor, and the renovation of temples like Somnath and Mahakali have added to India’s pride, thanks to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s efforts. Congress leaders raised questions about integrating Kashmir with the rest of India, but they forgot that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi abolished Article 370, making Kashmir an integral part of India forever. Under Congress rule, terrorism and Naxalism were plaguing the entire country, but Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi eradicated Naxalism from Madhya Pradesh and the entire country. Shri Amit Shah stated that during Congress rule, terrorist attacks were frequent in the country, but Congress took no action against terrorism. However, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party government eliminated terrorism by conducting surgical and air strikes inside Pakistan. Under the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party, India successfully landed its first Chandrayaan on the south pole of the moon, and the Hon’ble Prime Minister named it “Shiv-Shakti Point,” garnering praise worldwide. Under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, India has raised its strategic flag worldwide by hosting the G-20 summit.

Shri Shah highlighted that under the leadership of Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the past two decades, Madhya Pradesh has seen a surge in development. During the governance of the Bharatiya Janata Party, various initiatives have been undertaken in Madhya Pradesh, including the construction of the 906 km Narmada Expressway, a railway line costing 3000 crore, establishment of an Ayurvedic medical college, and the global promotion of indigenous agricultural products like kodu, kutki, ragi, and millet. Projects such as the Helen irrigation scheme, which irrigates 12,000 hectares of land, the multi-purpose Chinki Boras dam project, a 210 crore highway in Sivani, and the establishment of medical colleges in Chhindwara, Sivani, and Mandla have also been completed.

Union Home Minister highlighted that for 70 years, the Congress party kept the nation divided on the basis of casteism, nepotism, and corruption. However, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, these divisive forces have been eradicated. PM Shri Modi’s vision focuses on four key pillars: GYAN- Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata and Naari Shakti. This inclusive approach transcends caste boundaries and emphasizes the upliftment of all sections of society. Congress engaged in scams worth Rs 12 lakh crore, and now, as they face repercussions, they encounter hurdles. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi vowed to jail every corrupt individual and reclaim every misappropriated rupee, a promise he is fulfilling today. During its tenure, the UPA government of Congress allocated only ₹1 lakh 99 thousand crore to Madhya Pradesh over 10 years. In contrast, the government under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi allocated ₹7 lakh 74 thousand crore during its tenure of 10 years.

Shri Shah emphasized the need for making Hon’ble Prime Minister the leader of the country to fulfill the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. Shri Amit Shah stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who has empowered women by providing 33% reservation for them in Parliament, deserves the blessings of the people of Mandla. Shri Amit Shah passionately urged the public to ensure victory for the BJP on 29 seats and to re-elect Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and secure victory on more than 400 seats.
