BJP National Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia addresses press conference

Follow us on:

Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson, Shri Gaurav Bhatia, addressed a press conference at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi on Friday. During the press conference, Shri Bhatia criticized the rally of the DMK and Congress scheduled to be held in Tamil Nadu. He highlighted various instances of corruption within the INDI alliance and emphasized Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s commitment to eradicating corruption, along with the government’s efforts to prosecute corrupt individuals. Shri Bhatia criticized the opposition’s divisive politics, focusing on dynasty, corruption, and regionalism, contrasting it with Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of national unity. He also addressed instances of hate speech from opposition leaders, expressing confidence in the BJP’s performance in the upcoming elections

Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia stated that the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has taken a pledge to eradicate corruption from the country, while the INDI alliance, also known as the ‘Ghamandia Gathbandhan’, has been deeply entangled in the web of corruption. Shri Bhatia conveyed that the leaders of the INDI alliance believe that this entanglement will keep them connected and they will be able to exert pressure on an honest government and a duty-bound Prime Minister. But the public is saying that “Jisne Bhrashtachariyon Ki Rajnaitik Kabr Hai Khodi, Uss Immandar PM Ka Naam hai Shri Narendra Modi ”.

Shri Bhatia stated that there are two corrupt parties which are dynastic in nature. It is a well-known fact now that the Congress party is the mother of corruption. However, the corruption of the Congress party is now being replicated, and another corrupt party, the DMK, is emerging as a photocopy of the Congress. Today, when they come onto one stage, dynasty, corruption, and their policy of dividing India based on regionalism will be vividly apparent.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia emphasized that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has empowered investigative agencies to work freely and independently. They are diligently pursuing corrupt individuals, who are now finding themselves behind bars one by one. Even the judiciary is not granting them any relief. Shri Bhatia conveyed that the public is highly satisfied with the strong measures taken against corruption and is eagerly anticipating what unfolds next. The honesty of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ensures that no corrupt individual or ‘Kattar Baimaan’ person can escape.

Shri Bhatia stated that in the 2024 elections, the NDA and BJP are determined and confident. BJP is projected to win more than 370 seats, and NDA to secure more than 400 seats in the upcoming elections. On the other hand, the corrupt INDI alliance is shaken, nervous, and fearful. Shri Bhatia emphasized that Rahul Gandhi’s presence in the rally will send a message of dynasty and corruption to the entire world, as the Gandhi family is considered the most corrupt family in the world.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia stated that both Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are out on bail regarding corruption allegations. They went to the Supreme Court in the National Herald case, but even the Court did not grant them relief. Shri Bhatia stated that nowadays, it’s becoming a trend to run the government from jail, whether it’s Arvind Kejriwal or Tamil Nadu minister V. Senthil Balaji. Shri Bhatia pointed out that V. Senthil Balaji was arrested on June 14, 2023, in a PMLA case. After his arrest, he didn’t get bail and went to the Supreme Court. On November 28, 2023, the Supreme Court dismissed his plea. Then, the Tamil Nadu High Court rejected his second bail application on February 28, 2024. Senthil Balaji continued to serve as a minister for nearly 8 months while being in jail, which is a unique Ghamandia model of corruption. Shri Bhatia conveyed that the opposition’s shamelessness is such that they remain ministers even after being in jail for 8 months, as V Senthil Balaji resigned just 1 day prior to the hearing of the second bail application before the Madras High Court.

Bharatiya Janata Party National spokesperson stated that through the 2G scam, the nation’s wealth was looted under the UPA government, with A Raja serving as the then Telecom Minister. This was the biggest scandal after independence, followed by the coalgate scandal. Shri Gaurav Bhatia highlighted that in the 2G scam, the Supreme Court revoked 122 licenses for 2G spectrum because there was rampant nepotism, exploiting the country’s resources. If the Congress party, DMK, or any other INDIA alliance party questions the convictions, they first need to acknowledge that the Supreme Court had canceled those 122 licenses due to severe corruption. Shri Bhatia noted that there are pending appeals in higher courts, and the investigative agencies are diligently working, ensuring there will be convictions regarding the case. Those who have manipulated files and plundered the public will be proven guilty.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia stated that the scam of sand smuggling caused a loss of Rs. 4600 crore to the state treasury. Tamil Nadu BJP President Shri K Annamalai has also highlighted this issue with great emphasis. This is an accomplice to nepotism when state treasuries are depleted. Shri Bhatia emphasized that opposition parties are only interested in their own gains. For the common man, DMK stands for D-Deceit, M-Malpractice, K-Kleptomaniac. MK Stalin today is a habitual offender who steals from the people of Tamil Nadu.

Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia highlighted that under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, the NDA today has a vision for the country, while on the opposite side stands the consistently pessimistic INDI alliance. Shri Bhatia emphasized that the INDI alliance focuses solely on dividing the nation along regional and religious lines, spreading venom, and fostering hatred. Shri Bhatia conveyed that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi describes Tamil Nadu as a pride, frequently quoting saints from southern India during his fasting rituals. Even during ceremonies related to the Ram Mandir, Shri Narendra Modi visited temples in southern India. Initiatives like the establishment of Sengol in the new Parliament building and the inauguration of Kashi Tamil Sangamam exemplify Shri Narendra Modi’s vision, which transcends geographical boundaries and fosters national unity with the spirit of brotherhood as enshrined in the Constitution. Shri Bhatia noted that conversely, the opposition propagates hatred. He highlighted that Udhayanidhi Stalin likened Sanatan Dharm to diseases like Dengue and Malaria, with DMK allies, including the Congress, remaining silent. Priyank Kharge equated the Hindu religion with a disease, while Mallikarjun Kharge remained a mute spectator. Congress leader G Parmeshwara even questioned the origins of the Hindu religion. Shri Bhatia emphasized the need to address such issues, particularly as the Congress party’s manifesto also targets the majority Hindu community, by saying ‘Bahusankhayakwaad khatarnaak hai, nahi chalega’. The Congress must clarify why it promotes such hatred towards the Hindu community and Sanatan Dharma.

Shri Gaurav Bhatia highlighted the opposition’s politics of hatred, evident in their consistent hurling of insults at Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Bhatia emphasized that just yesterday, Lalu Prasad Yadav, a five-time convicted leader’s daughter Misa Bharti, declared that their alliance would imprison Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi if it comes to power. Shri Bhatia remarked that though their government is unlikely to come to power, such statements are alarming. He highlighted that Shri Narendra Modi has served in constitutional positions for 22 years, including 12 years as Chief Minister and 10 years as the Prime Minister. The public holds him in high regard, and such remarks against him reflect the opposition’s frustration. Shri Gaurav Bhatia expressed confidence that when the Lok Sabha election results come out in June, the hateful opposition party leaders will face a strong rebuke from the public, revealing their true faces and leaving them with fewer than 30 seats in the opposition.
