Follow us on:

Trinamool Congress Chopra MLA Hamidur Rahman, threatened all the opposition parties, including the Bharatiya Janata Party. Rahman said “After April 26, when the Central Security Forces will withdraw, only we will remain, and then who will save you from us?” This reflects the height of cruelty under the rule of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Indi Alliance leaders are maintaining silence on the continuous transformation of ‘Loktantra’ into ‘Shoktantra’ in West Bengal.

The Election Commission of India should take cognizance of such threats and initiate appropriate action against the leaders of the Trinamool Congress.

It cannot be forgotten that after the Panchayat elections in West Bengal, Trinamool Congress goons harassed voters to such an extent that thousands were compelled to flee to neighboring states for safety. Similarly, even after the West Bengal Assembly elections, Trinamool Congress goons continued to intimidate voters and karyakartas, forcing many to seek refuge in neighboring states.

Trinamool Congress MLAs are once again issuing the same threats. This clearly showcases the peak of ruthlessness under the governance of CM Mamata Banerjee. The manner in which Mamata Banerjee has transformed ‘Loktantra’ into ‘Shoktantra’ in West Bengal is indeed a crime.

The flames of Sandeshkhali have not yet cooled, and despite this, Trinamool Congress goons are openly intimidating voters. This is a tragic reminder of the state of democracy.

Before this, Mamata Banerjee herself had been issuing threats to the voters, and Trinamool Congress goons have been intimidating voters as well.

The situation in West Bengal has deteriorated to the point where Enforcement Directorate (ED) officers are being attacked, and even when officers of NIA conduct raids on terrorists, they face attacks.

BJP’s raised a question to the TMC –

  • Is there democracy left in West Bengal ? Does democracy rule in West Bengal?

Congress President MallikarjunKharge and other leaders within the INDI Alliance have remained silent regarding the atrocities committed by Mamata Banerjee’s government. Although Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in LokSabha, AdhirRanjanChoudhary occasionally speaks out against these incidents, the majority of Congress leaders choose to ignore the cruelty inflicted by Mamata Banerjee.

This orchestrated conspiracy by Mamata Banerjee against democracy requires collective condemnation and action. The Election Commission must acknowledge these threats and take decisive measures against the leaders of the Trinamool Congress.

Similarly, in Delhi, AamAadmi Party leader and Delhi Cabinet Minister Atishi Marlena, has convened a press conference alleging a plot to impose President’s rule. The AamAadmi Party’s governance has now been exposed with its leaders facing imprisonment. AamAadmi Party convener and Delhi CM ArvindKejriwal has already been jailed in connection with the liquor scam. Nevertheless, their propensity for convening press conferences on absurd matters persists.

It’s deeply regrettable that instead of addressing constitutional concerns, AamAadmi Party leaders persist in spreading baseless rumors and the way they are getting space for them is extremely unfortunate. It’s imperative to highlight that the continued incarceration of a Chief Minister is crushing the Constitution every on a daily basis.

The Enforcement Directorate has confirmed that no directives have been issued by ArvindKejriwal from jail. Despite this, ministers of the Kejriwal government continue to present fabricated orders purportedly from their Chief Minister. AamAadmi Party leaders keep telling lies day in and day out. They lack substantive issues yet maintaining a tradition of conducting daily press conferences.
