In pursuance to the Launch of Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM 4.0) by Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) today, Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) has commenced preparatory phase of the Special Campaign 4.0. In preparatory phase DoPPW will identify targets for various activities to be taken up during the campaign period. Main campaign starts from 2nd October, 2024 and will last up to 31st Oct, 2024to minimize pendency, institutionalize Swachhta, strengthen internal monitoring mechanisms and improve records management.
DoPPW and Central Government Pensioners Associations have identified 64 Cleanliness sites across the country. During the preparatory phase of Special campaign 4.0, Joint Secretary (Pension) has inspected all the indentified cleanliness sites in the office premises and directed all the official to put their best effort to achieve the targets during the campaign period. As part of “Swachhta Hi Sewa” programme, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’bleMoS (PP) along with Sh. V. Srinivas, Secretary (Pension) and all officials of DoPPW will participate in plantation drive at Nehru Park, NitiMarg, New Delhi. Daily progress will be monitored by a dedicated team and uploaded on the SCPDM portal hosted by Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances.
This year, DoPPW has fixed a target of disposal of 6500 Public Grievance including Appeals. 4384 Physical files and 5669 Electronic files have been identified for review during the campaign.
