New Delhi/Bengaluru, 18th September 2024: Canara Bank, one of the leading Public Sector Banks in India was conferred with the prestigious Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar in the Magazines category by Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs & Cooperation Shri Amit Shah during the 4th All India Official Language Conference held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi during Hindi Diwas celebrations. This prestigious honour is given for the exemplary contribution made by Canara Bank in promoting the official language Hindi in its operations and services.
The award was presented in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Nityanand Rai and Shri Bandi Sanjay Kumar. Shri K Satyanarayana Raju, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Canara Bank received the honour at a grand ceremony organized to mark the commencement of the National Celebration of Hindi Diwas.
