Chennai, May 2025tale ‘O’ meter, a creative platform for mindful entertainment, is proud to present “Solla Vaa”, a one-of-a-kind storytelling workshop designed to spark imagination and creativity in children aged 8 to 13. Scheduled from 20th to 24th May, this five-day immersive experience will be held at the tale ‘O’ meter studio in RA Puram, Chennai, from 11 AM to 1 PM daily.

Solla Vaa—which means “Come, Speak” in Tamil goes beyond just writing stories. It encourages children to bring their stories to life through voice, expression, and performance. The workshop is bilingual (Tamil & English) and offers an engaging blend of writing, mentoring, vocal training, and studio recording, all culminating in a final showcase of original short stories.

The “Solla Vaa” workshop by tale ‘O’ meter offers a thoughtfully designed five-day journey that helps children explore storytelling in its most creative and expressive forms. On Day 1, participants will dive into the fundamentals of writing with fun games and interactive exercises that teach the mechanics of storytelling in an engaging manner. Day 2 focuses on story development, where each child works closely with a mentor to ideate, refine, and finalize a unique 3-minute story. Day 3 is all about vocal expression, children will learn voice exercises, modulation techniques, posture, and how to effectively use a microphone to bring their stories alive. On Day 4, the budding storytellers will get the exciting opportunity to record their stories in a state-of-the-art studio, ensuring a professional narration experience. Finally, Day 5 culminates in a special showcase where all 12 short stories will be premiered, giving participants the joy and pride of sharing their creations with an audience.

With a registration fee of ₹5,000, the workshop promises a hands-on, skill-building, and confidence-boosting experience for kids who love stories and performance.
