Pune, June 20, 2025: Global hospitality technology company OYO has felicitated its top-performing hotel partners at an event held at Hotel Emerald Guestimony in Pune. The initiative is a part of OYO’s ongoing efforts to empower first generation hoteliers through technology, marketing, and revenue optimization tools. The event brought together key stakeholders, including top OYO-affiliated hoteliers, real estate owners, and hospitality entrepreneurs, to discuss growth opportunities, best practices, and future business strategies.

OYO is planning to add more than 300 hotels in Maharashtra in key cities such as Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nagpur, and Kolhapur, which are witnessing a surge in travel demand across business, leisure, and religious tourism segments in 2025. Most of these hotels will be added under the ‘company serviced’ hotels category indicating OYO’s active involvement in the operations.

Varun Jain, Chief Operating Officer, OYO said, "Maharashtra continues to be one of OYO’s key markets, and Pune is a thriving hub for hospitality innovation. Through this partner engagement, we aim to share insights on rising travel trends, showcase new product offerings, and provide hotel partners with the tools they need to expand confidently and profitably across the state”.

During the meet, OYO highlighted the success stories of hotel partners who have expanded into multiple cities using OYO’s tech-led model, achieving higher occupancy rates, better customer satisfaction scores, and increased revenue per room.

“The journey with OYO has been collaborative and growth-focused. Their constant innovation gives us confidence to scale and invest in more locations, Shailnder Kumar, owner of the Divisha Group added. OYO’s expansion drive aligns with the Maharashtra government’s focus on tourism growth.

OYO is actively inviting more property owners and hoteliers to join its network, offering flexible management contracts, revenue-sharing models, and fixed rental agreements to ensure safe and profitable property management. The company’s latest initiative is expected to further boost employment, entrepreneurship, and tourism in the region, building on the thousands of direct and indirect jobs already generated by OYO in Maharashtra.
