But I guess, nothing can truly prepares you for being a lead actor. Though I’d been on sets since Rockstar at 13—doing cameos and ads. This was a whole new level of responsibility. The entire story rested on my shoulders, demanding 200% effort every moment. Mukesh and Sushant guided me through it all.”
Talking about the dynamic she shared with Mukesh Chhabra, she said “Dil Bechara was a unique double debut for Mukesh Chhabra and me. Mukesh literally sparked my acting career, spotting me in school in 2010 and casting me in Rockstar. So, for him to then entrust me with the lead in his directorial debut meant the world. My full-time acting path wasn’t certain; I remember a real fear of uncertainty. Navigating our firsts together created a truly special dynamic on set.”
