New Delhi- Under the aegis of Pasmanda Vikas Foundation, a “Qaumi Taleemi Bedari Conference” was organized at the Madni Hall of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind in Delhi. On this occasion, computer sets were distributed to madrasas and free educational kits were provided to nearly 225 Pasmanda students. The main objective of the program was to connect students with modern technology, launch a campaign to modernize education in madrasas, and spread awareness.
Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi, General Secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, was present as the chief guest. In his address, he said, “No one can progress without education. In today’s era, computer knowledge has become essential. Responsible members of society should also come forward to connect Pasmanda Muslims with education. In the Islamic world, special attention must be given to higher education in all fields of knowledge.”

On this occasion, Mohammad Meraj Rain, Director of Pasmanda Vikas Foundation, said, “Education is the true ladder of progress for communities. Our priority is to popularize both religious and modern education, as education is the most effective means to bring backward sections into the national mainstream. The objective of this program is to promote modern education in madrasas and encourage social development. All Pasmanda children should take advantage of government schemes. We have called for a ‘Taleemi Jihad’ so that the Pasmanda community can move forward on the path of progress through education.”
Nikhat Parveen, Director of Pasmanda Vikas Foundation, said, “When a woman is educated, the entire family becomes educated.” Stressing the importance of Muslim women’s education, she said it is the need of the hour.
