“Being on set feels like being at home,” says Rishi Saxena, on his experience on the sets of Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi

Mumbai, September 2025: Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi has been winning hearts with its refreshing take on relationships, family bonds, and the sweet slice-of-life moments that feel real and relatable. The recent episodes have beautifully highlighted the growing bond between Anvita (Sumbul Touqeer Khan) a 21-year-old girl who shoulders the responsibility of caring for her five younger siblings, and her friend Virat (Rajat Verma), as audiences enjoy seeing their chemistry unfold on screen. Meanwhile, Sanjay (Rishi Saxena) – Anvita’s childhood friend and a cop, continues to be a steady and supportive presence in her life, bringing in a sense of comfort and nostalgia that balances the new spark of romance with Virat.

Speaking about his experience on the show, Rishi Saxena shared how his on-screen chemistry with Sumbul and Rajat came alive instantly. “On the very first day of the shoot itself, I connected so naturally with Sumbul and Rajat that we didn’t really have to work hard to build chemistry; it was just there. Sometimes as actors you need time and workshops to create that comfort, but here it felt effortless. With them, there was an instant warmth, which made performing emotional as well as lighter moments very smooth. That kind of bond shows on screen and makes the audience connect more deeply with our characters,” he said.

Rishi also mentioned how Varun Badola, who is playing the role of Anvita’s father, Suhas instantly remembered working with him on a project a few years ago. “That recognition and the sense of familiarity made the atmosphere even more special. With everyone’s warmth and support, being on set genuinely feels like being at home,” Rishi expressed.
