Down into the deep history, I am overwhelmed and enamoured by many such connecting stories of past. Alexander of Macedonia in his early teens was under the guidance of Aristotle. Former Iraq president Saddam Hussein was inspired in his youth by his uncle. As such many, perhaps all the youth requires a proper guidance, a good mentor to get touched and keep moving ahead despite facing even the setbacks too.
Every youth wants to be unique as late President Dr Abdul Kalam taught us. We all are unique in our ways, our life and the creative ruptures. As a youth of India, the best teacher is experience to learn from and the mentors we come across in various phases. As we, all have something or the other to do in life, any role or going through the harsh period, still the youth should not lose his mind, as opines Alibaba’s Jack Ma of China. My youth and my writing was inspired and honed by the unique mentors of all time, as I believe. My first and foremost mentor in life, was my mother. She dawned the first ray of light, wisdom and hope. As my education began, I got the handsome opportunity to meet up with true teachers. Fr Thomson of my school was a real guru of life, discovering my inner beauty with his empathy. Later on, while I was a student in college two giants, whose radiance of knowledge still vibrates in my heart. Professor Alphonse Ligori and Professor Sibi Zarchias, both had special qualities and the able uniqueness to move students with energy and vigour.
I developed a passion for life and writing skill, as today world recounts youth skills day, our youth is special, guide them, as a true example for many to come……
