TRAI Chairman Felicitates Officers for Key Recommendations on Telecommunications Act, 2023

Chairman, TRAI felicitated officers of TRAI for their exemplary service in expeditious completion in preparation of recommendation on “Framework for Service Authorizations to be granted under the Telecommunications Act 2023”.

TRAI has released recommendations on “Framework for Service Authorizations to be granted under the Telecommunications Act 2023” today dated 18.09.2024.  The mammoth exercise of consultation and finalization of recommendations for a complete revamp of existing licensing framework to a new authorisation framework was started on receipt of a reference from DoT dated 21^st June, 2024 and was completed in a short period of 90 days.
