Mumbai, April 2025: Iconic filmmaker Subhash Ghai has showered praises on the talented Rajeshwari Sachdev for her remarkable portrayal of a Marathi character in the upcoming film Amaira. Known for her Punjabi roots, Rajeshwari has seamlessly slipped into the skin of a Marathi woman, leaving audiences and critics alike amazed by her effortless transformation.

Speaking about her performance, Subhash Ghai said, “Rajeshwari has breathed soul into her character. It’s incredible how she, coming from a Punjabi background, has captured the nuances, the dialect, and the emotional depth of a true Maharashtrian woman. Such authenticity is rare and deserves applause.”

Subhash Ghai, who is renowned for introducing fresh faces to Bollywood, continues his legacy with Amaira as the film marks the exciting entry of Sai Godbole into the world of cinema. Also featuring seasoned actor Ajinkya Deo in a pivotal role, Amaira promises to be a heartfelt cinematic journey that bridges cultures and emotions.
Amaira is all set to release on 16th May.
