I’ve never lived in a world without FINAL DESTINATION. Getting to be a part of it is crazy – Brec Bassinger

Mumbai, May 2025: The newest chapter in New Line Cinema’s bloody successful franchise takes audiences back to the very beginning of Death’s twisted sense of justice—“Final Destination Bloodlines” helmed by directors Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky.

The FINAL DESTINATION franchise has existed for 25 years, and some of the young actors in the cast are the same age or younger. Brec Bassinger stars as Iris, a young woman out on a very big date in 1969. Bassinger says, “It has been around forever, I’ve never lived in a world without FINAL DESTINATION. Getting to be a part of it is crazy!”

And Bassinger’s relationship to the franchise goes even deeper than never having lived in a world without it. She had previously worked with Stein in a pilot he directed years earlier, and Ali Larter, star of the first two FINAL DESTINATION movies, played her mother in The Man in the White Van. Bassinger recalls having asked Larter all kinds of questions about how scary it was to film the movies. She says, “And now, to get to be part of it! It was very fun to text Ali and tell her I was following in her footsteps when I got cast in this.”

Along with Brec Bassinger, “Final Destination Bloodlines” stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Rya Kihlstedt, with Anna Lore, and Tony Todd.

New Line Cinema presents A Practical Pictures / Freshman Year / Fireside Films Production: “Final Destination Bloodlines.” Distributed in Cinemas worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film will release in Cinemas in India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on Thursday May 15, 2025.
