Akshita Earns Prestigious Karate Black Belt

Bhubaneswar, August 31,2025: Akshita Pattnaik, a young talent from Utkal Karate School Main Dojo has been awarded the rank of black belt Sho Dan in the art of Shito Ryu Shuko Kai Karate- Do in recognition of the diligent study of the art. This achievement is the culmination of 5 years of dedicated training.

The promotion to black belt is a significant milestone that signifies not only a high level of technical skill but also a mastery of the fundamental principles of the martial art, including discipline, perseverance, and respect. To earn this rank, Akshita successfully completed a rigorous examination that tested proficiency in Kihon, Kata and Kumite.

“Earning my black belt has been an incredibly rewarding journey,” said Akshita Pattnaik. “It’s more than just a belt; it represents years of hard work, self-improvement, and the support of my instructors Dr. Hariprasad Pattnayak, Kharabela Mallik and fellow students. I am grateful for the lessons I have learned inside the Main dojo.”
