15th<\/sup>\u00a0Finance Commission recommends release of grants to States for their Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and not to State Finance Commission.<\/p>\n Under AMRUT 2.0, Sub-Scheme on Formulation of Geographical Information System (GIS) based master plans for 675 Class-II towns with population of 50,000-99,999 is launched with tentative outlay of \u20b9631.13 crore. As on date, funds of Rs. 76.00 Cr. has been released to on board 18 States (550 Towns) (ANNEXURE-II).<\/p>\n Under GIS sub-scheme of AMRUT 2.0, the State Governments submit the name\/s of cities where they want to prepare master plans to the ministry after approval from State High Power Steering Committee (SHPSC). Accordingly, the State Govt. of Rajasthan has submitted the name of Sojat city from Pali district. No proposal has been received from Govt. of Haryana for any city in Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha Constituency and from Govt. of Chhattisgarh for Raipur district.
