{"id":18154,"date":"2024-09-18T10:45:52","date_gmt":"2024-09-18T05:15:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/matribhumisamachar.com\/en\/?p=18154"},"modified":"2024-09-18T10:45:52","modified_gmt":"2024-09-18T05:15:52","slug":"mdoner-launches-swachhata-hi-seva-campaign-2024-with-a-pledge-for-cleanliness-and-green-initiatives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/matribhumisamachar.com\/en\/2024\/09\/18\/mdoner-launches-swachhata-hi-seva-campaign-2024-with-a-pledge-for-cleanliness-and-green-initiatives\/","title":{"rendered":"MDoNER Launches Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2024 with a Pledge for Cleanliness and Green Initiatives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) has launched the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign 2024, running from 14th September to 1st October 2024, with a series of initiatives aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today, on 17th September 2024, Shri Chanchal Kumar, Secretary, MDoNER, administered a Swacchta Seva Pledge to all staff members and affiliated organisations at Vigyan Bhawan Annexe, New Delhi. This pledge reaffirmed the Ministry\u2019s commitment to the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) under the theme Swabhav Swachhata Sanskaar Swachhata.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image001ABNC.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of the campaign, the Cleanliness Target Unit (CTU) was established at the Jodhpur Officers Hostel, where MDoNER employees carried out an intensive cleanliness drive through Shramdaan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Later in the day, a group activity under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam programme saw the planting of trees, further promoting environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image002ZIXL.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Leading up to this pledge, several more activities have been planned, including a Waste to Art competition on 20th September 2024, aimed at showcasing innovative ways to repurpose waste materials.
