{"id":18211,"date":"2024-09-18T10:38:56","date_gmt":"2024-09-18T05:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/matribhumisamachar.com\/en\/?p=18211"},"modified":"2024-09-18T10:38:56","modified_gmt":"2024-09-18T05:08:56","slug":"dfs-launches-swachhata-hi-seva-2024-for-promoting-a-sense-of-commitment-towards-cleanliness-and-sanitation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/matribhumisamachar.com\/en\/2024\/09\/18\/dfs-launches-swachhata-hi-seva-2024-for-promoting-a-sense-of-commitment-towards-cleanliness-and-sanitation\/","title":{"rendered":"DFS launches Swachhata Hi Seva -2024 for promoting a sense of commitment towards cleanliness and sanitation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, today launched the\u00a0<em>Swachhata Hi Seva<\/em>\u00a0campaign in New Delhi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image00117XY.png\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Glimpse of Swachhata Pledge taken by Secretary (DFS) along with officers of Department of Financial Services today.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Shri Nagaraju Maddirala, Secretary (DFS) administered\u00a0<em>Swachhta<\/em>\u00a0Pledge to heads of PSBs, PSICs, PSFIs, RRBs and senior officers of DFS and its attached offices<\/strong>\u00a0during a VC meeting. All nodal officers of the financial institutions and SLBC\/ UTLBC convenors also participated in the launch programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image002OXS9.png\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The campaign is part of the ongoing programmes of Swachh Bharat Mission, initiated in 2014, as the campaign for behavioural change towards cleanliness in this country.\u00a0<em>Swabhav Swachhta Sanskar Swachhata<\/em>\u00a0is the theme for this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The commitment to the campaign goals and the intent to make the campaign wider and deeper were emphasised by taking pledge.\u00a0<strong>120 organisations of DFS and more than 86,000 branches of financial institutions are expected to participate in the campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Transformation of black spots (unattended garbage dump areas), plantation drive (<em>Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam<\/em>), identification and cleanliness of CTUs,\u00a0<em>Nukkad Natak<\/em>, outreach programmes for enrolling the\u00a0<em>Safai Mitras<\/em>\u00a0to Government schemes, exhibition on\u00a0<em>swachhata<\/em>\u00a0themes in each office\/branch are among the events that have been planned between 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Sept. to 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0Oct. 2024 across the country by the financial institutions. Events will be geographically mapped in the dedicated\u00a0<em>Swachhta Hi Seva<\/em>\u00a0portal so that common citizens also can join the programmes near to them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To spread awareness on ways to keep the premises clean, DFS has requested all\u00a0<strong>organisations<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>to set up exhibition on themes of segregation of waste at source, recycling techniques and on composting in more than 86,000 branches<\/strong>. Further, NABARD and RRBs have been requested to organise\u00a0<em>Nukkad Natak<\/em>\u00a0across the country on the themes of\u00a0<em>swachhata<\/em>\u00a0and financial literacy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To give wide impact to the\u00a0<em>Swachhata Hi Seva<\/em>\u00a0campaign, all branches have been requested\u00a0<strong>to organise plantation drive and to set up outreach programmes for enrolment of\u00a0<em>Safai Mitras<\/em>\u00a0to government schemes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Lead District Managers at all districts have been requested to identify and map black spots and to transform them in a timely manner during the campaign period<\/strong>\u00a0along with other listed events in their respective districts. It has been planned to transform at least 5 black spots in each of the districts with the efforts of bankers, volunteers and common citizens in each of the districts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>More than 6200 events have already been created on the SHS Portal by the field functionaries of PSBs, PSICs and Other Public Sector Financial Institutions.<\/strong>\u00a0These events can be classified into 40 listed categories of\u00a0 events, covering 36 states and union territories of the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, today launched the\u00a0Swachhata Hi Seva\u00a0campaign in New Delhi.
