In exercise of the powers conferred by section 45ZB of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, the Central Government has accordingly reconstituted the Monetary Policy Committee of RBI, as below:-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(a)\u00a0 Governor of the Reserve Bank of India \u2014 Chairperson, ex officio;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(b)\u00a0 Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, in charge of Monetary Policy \u2014Member, ex officio;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(c)\u00a0 One officer of the Reserve Bank of India to be nominated by the Central Board \u2014Member, ex officio;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(d)\u00a0 Prof. Ram Singh, Director, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi \u2014Member;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(e) Shri Saugata Bhattacharya, Economist \u2014 Member; and<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(f)\u00a0 Dr. Nagesh Kumar, Director and Chief Executive, Institute for Studies in Industrial Development, New Delhi \u2014 Member.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Members of the Monetary Policy Committee appointed by the Central Government (at Sl.
