Hyderabad, 24th February 2025:\u00a0<\/strong>The exhilarating four-day journey of\u00a0eBAJA SAEINDIA 2025\u00a0<\/strong>which started with registration of 85 teams came to a thrilling conclusion today, marking another milestone in India’s electric mobility and engineering innovation. Hosted at\u00a0B V Raju Institute of Technology<\/strong>, Narsapur, near Hyderabad, the final day witnessed intense endurance event, groundbreaking innovations, and the crowning of this year\u2019s champions.<\/p>\n

\n

Since its inception in 2007, BAJA SAEINDIA has grown from a single- category event to a multi- category transformative event. The 10 glorious years of eBAJA SAEINDIA is special as this year witnessed the maximum participation of teams in the history of the eBAJA event.\u00a0The Theme \u201cFusion 4 Future\u201d stands on the core pillars of Technology, Diversity, Sustainability and Connectivity, encompassed in mBAJA (IC Engine), eBAJA (Electric), hBAJA (HCNG)\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0aBAJA (Autonomous).\u00a0<\/strong>This season truly reflects these values, as the four-day event showcased every aspect.<\/p>\n

\n

The highlight of the day was the much-anticipated Endurance Event,\u00a0where out of 77 teams from across India present at the facility, 51 teams cleared Technical Inspection successfully, out of which 44 teams qualified for the final leg of the event\u00a0<\/strong>by undergoing the rigorous challenges in the previous days which included rounds of Safety Scrutiny like Technical Inspections and Brake test. The Endurance race flagged-off by Senior leaders from Automotive Industry and Academia led\u00a0<\/strong>by\u00a0Mr. Aditya Vissam,\u00a0<\/strong>Secretary of Sri Vishu Educational Society;\u00a0Mr. Shravan Kumar,\u00a0<\/strong>Territory Manager, Nizamabad of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd;\u00a0Mr. Balraj Subramaniam<\/strong>, Chairman, Organizing Committee, BAJA SAEINDIA and\u00a0Dr. K. C. Vora<\/strong>, Advisor, BAJA SAEINDIA.\u00a0<\/strong>The other members present were\u00a0Ramanathan S\u00a0<\/strong>from Automotive Test System, Ramesha S\u00a0<\/strong>from Altair, Mayank Kumar Dwivedi\u00a0<\/strong>from ANSYS, Feroz Khan\u00a0<\/strong>from Hero Motocorp, Padmesh Sewda\u00a0<\/strong>from TVS Motors, Arun Jaura\u00a0<\/strong>from JK Tyres\u00a0<\/strong>& Industries and\u00a0<\/strong>the Conveners\u00a0Vinoth Kumar, Manoneet Singh\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Pranav Khatekar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The day concluded with Valedictory ceremony to celebrate the hard-work of the teams, where top- performing teams were recognized for their excellence in different domains. The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest\u00a0Prof. (Dr.) V. Balakista Reddy,\u00a0<\/strong>Chairman, Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE)\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Mr. Sukhmal Jain,\u00a0<\/strong>Director, Marketing, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. Dr. K. V. Vishnu Raju,\u00a0<\/strong>Chairman, Sri Vishnu Educational Society\u00a0<\/strong>gave the welcome address on behalf of host institute to the audience.<\/p>\n

About BAJA SAEINDIA<\/strong><\/p>\n

BAJA SAEINDIA is an educational pursuit for engineering college students, an out-of-classroom-education system, where engineering students can participate as a team, giving them pragmatic exposure to real-world challenges as faced in the industry. Originally started in the USA by the SAE International as Mini BAJA SAE, today it is being organized in several countries. In India, it is being organized as BAJA SAEINDIA: A student-level competition in which teams from universities all over the country conceptualize, design, analyze, fabricate, validate and run an all-terrain vehicle. This is evaluated over a series of Static, Dynamic, and Endurance events. Over the years, BAJA SAEINDIA has grown in numbers and has become a bigger event nationally and over the past years, expanded internationally as well. It serves as a platform for young engineering talent to showcase their skills and acquire real-life experience while overcoming obstacles and challenges: critical for their long-term success.<\/p>\n
