Before his present appointment, he was holding the post of Commandant of Military College of EME for a duration of two years. He has been the Master General of EME of HQ Central Command\u00a0and\u00a0commanded Army Base Workshop\u00a0&amp;\u00a0EME Centre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lieutenant General JS Sidana\u00a0is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy,\u00a0Khadakwasla\u00a0and was commissioned into the Corps of EME from Indian Military Academy, Dehradun on December 14, 1985.\u00a0His academic credentials include a Masters in Management Studies from Osmania University, M.\u00a0Tech from IIT Kanpur and Master of Philosophy from Punjab University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Upon\u00a0taking over as\u00a0the\u00a0DGEME,\u00a0Lieutenant General JS Sidana\u00a0has\u00a0encouraged\u00a0all ranks of the Corps to embrace the power of technology and innovation to render effective engineering support to the Indian Army.
