Bhopal, March 31: A Significant meeting of the Apna Dal (S) Madhya Pradesh unit was recently held recently in Indore, following the directives of the National Committee. Led by political strategist Dr. Atul Malikram, the meeting also saw the presence of Dr. Akhilesh Patel, National General Secretary of Yuva Manch, along with district presidents and state officials from across Madhya Pradesh.<\/p>\n
The primary focus of the meeting was the effective implementation of a 27 percent reservation for the backward classes. Emphasizing this demand, National General Secretary Dr. Akhilesh Patel reiterated the stance of Union Minister and National President of Apna Dal (S), Anupriya Patel, stating, “Reservation for OBCs must be strictly enforced in government jobs and educational institutions.”<\/p>\n

In addition, Dr. Patel also emphasized the need to implement a 27 percent reservation in fourth-class jobs within the private sector. He pointed out that these recruitments are often conducted through outsourcing, and whole reservation policies are not followed. Urging the government to take concrete measures, he stressed the importance of safeguarding the rights of the OBC community.<\/p>\n
Notably, Apna Dal (S), the third-largest political party in Uttar Pradesh, is actively expanding its presence in Madhya Pradesh. This meeting also put an end to speculations about the party\u2019s inactivity in the state. Party National President and Union Minister Anupriya Patel has consistently been a strong advocate for OBC reservation and social harmony. Over the years, Apna Dal (S) has raised several crucial issues at both national and regional levels, amplifying the voice of marginalized communities.<\/p>\n
