VABOMERE is indicated in adults for the treatment of the following infections known or suspected to be caused by carbapenem-resistant, vaborbactam\/meropenem-susceptible Gram-negative bacteria:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Complicated urinary tract infections (cUTI), including pyelonephritis,<\/li>\n<li>Complicated intra-abdominal infection (cIAI),<\/li>\n<li>Hospital acquired pneumonia (HAP), including ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP),<\/li>\n<li>Bacteremia that occurs in association with, or is suspected to be associated with, any of the infections listed above,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Other infections with limited treatment options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gram-negative organisms include <i>Enterobacterales<\/i>, such as <i>Enterobacter cloacae<\/i>, <i>Escherichia coli, <\/i>and <i>Klebsiella pneumoniae.<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of VABOMERE and other antibacterial drugs, VABOMERE should be used only to treat infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy.
