Mumbai, June 2025: Sony Entertainment Television\u2019s Aami Dakini is already making waves with its gripping storytelling and unexpected turns. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Kolkata, the show marks a return to deeply immersive storytelling for the channel\u2014bringing back the eerie thrill that once defined their iconic series, Aahat. The show stars Hitesh Bharadwaj as Ayaan, Sheen Das as Dakini, and Rachi Sharma in a pivotal role.<\/p>\n
Sharing his excitement, Hitesh Bharadwaj says, \u201cAahat was a childhood ritual. There was something about its silence and sudden chills that drew me. It scared me, but I couldn\u2019t stop watching.\u201d He recalls, \u201cI remember watching it with my cousins, all of us squeezed under one blanket\u2014acting brave, but jumping at every sound, these memories are still vivid.\u201d<\/p>\n
He adds, \u201cTo now be part of a world that carries the same energy feels surreal. I\u2019ve gone from being the kid on the couch to someone in the show. It\u2019s not just a role\u2014it\u2019s personal. My Character Ayaan is a deeply layered man, stuck between reason and instinct, logic and belief. Playing him meant confronting fears that aren\u2019t always visible\u2014emotional fears, internal battles. And that\u2019s what makes him real.\u201d<\/p>\n
