Kazakhstan-Telangana Ties Set to Soar: Direct Flights and\u00a0<\/i><\/strong>Business Collaborations on the anvil.<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n Hyderabad, 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0July 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0In a significant step towards deepening economic and cultural ties, the Hon\u2019ble Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana,\u00a0Sri Batti Vikramarka Mallu<\/strong>, and\u00a0His Excellency Dr. Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan<\/strong>, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hyderabad for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, met at the Deputy CM’s official residence, today to explore collaborative opportunities between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Telangana.<\/p>\n The high-level meeting focused on expanding bilateral trade, healthcare, education, and connectivity. Dr. Khan apprised the Deputy Chief Minister of the recent\u00a0MoU between Hyderabad-based MSN Laboratories and Kazakh Invest<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b>for establishing a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Kazakhstan, a milestone in Indo-Kazakh cooperation.<\/p>\n Another key highlight was the discussion on\u00a0proposed direct flight services between Hyderabad and Almaty<\/strong>,<\/b>\u00a0Kazakhstan, which are currently under consideration. Dr. Khan shared updates from his recent meeting with\u00a0Mr. Ananda Acharya, Head of Airline Marketing and Route Development at GMR Airport<\/strong>, to initiate this direct air route, expected to boost tourism, trade, and cultural exchange.<\/p>\n In the healthcare and education sectors, Dr. Khan mentioned ongoing discussions with\u00a0Dr. Srinivas Rao, CEO of Apollo Hospitals Group<\/strong>, to establish a medical education institution and a world-class hospital in Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n Impressed by the growing ties and potential, the Hon\u2019ble Deputy Chief Minister extended\u00a0the Government of Telangana\u2019s full support<\/strong>\u00a0to all such initiatives. He also accepted Dr. Khan\u2019s formal invitation to visit Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n To mark the occasion,\u00a0Sri Batti Vikramarka Mallu and his family hosted a special dinner<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b>in honour of Dr. Khan and his family, underlining the warmth and goodwill between both sides.<\/p>\n The evening concluded on a high note, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to building a dynamic partnership between Kazakhstan and Telangana.
