Jaipur, July 2025: After leaving the audience curious with its striking motion poster and teaser, Sun Neo has finally dropped a new promo of its much-awaited show \u2018Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani\u2019, revealing the lead actress of the show. Actress Gauri Shelgaonkar, known for her acting chops in several TV shows, will play the role of Ghevar in the upcoming show.<\/p>\n

The promo opens with a desert at dusk. As Ghevar runs across the sand, she suddenly drops to her knees upon spotting a photo frame buried in the sand. She gently brushes it off with her hand, her eyes filled with emotion. But then comes the twist \u2014 she hears a baby crying in a cradle and lifts the child in her arms. Why is Ghevar holding a baby in the middle of the desert? What\u2019s the connection between her, the child? The visuals are powerful, the story full of questions \u2014 and this is just the beginning.<\/p>\n

Sharing her excitement, Gauri Shelgaonkar said, \u201cI\u2019m really happy and excited to play the role of Ghevar. When I first heard my character\u2019s name, I found it so interesting because Ghevar is the name of a famous sweet, and I feel the name matches her nature too. Our show is set in Rajasthan, and as soon as I heard the storyline, I got even more excited thinking about wearing beautiful Rajasthani outfits and jewellery.”<\/p>\n

She further added, “Working with the best writer and producer Raghuvir Shekhawat (sir), is like a dream come true for me. The way he explained the character was amazing, and I understood instantly that I\u2019m going to learn so much from him and grow as an actor through this role. I had been waiting for such an opportunity, and I feel grateful to the makers and Sun Neo for giving me this chance. I really hope the audience loves my character and enjoys watching the show.\u201d<\/p>\n
