Announces Results of Annual General Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/api.newsfilecorp.com\/newsinfo\/264127\/511\" width=\"2\" height=\"2\"><\/p>\n<p>Toronto, Ontario&#8211;(Newsfile Corp. &#8211; August 27, 2025) &#8211; <i>Mines d&#8217;Or Orbec Inc.<\/i> (TSXV: BLUE) (OTC Pink: BLTMF) (&#8220;Orbec&#8221; or the &#8220;Company&#8221;) is pleased to announce the voting results of its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (the &#8220;Meeting&#8221;) held on June 25, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>A total of <b>32,700,824 shares<\/b> were voted at the Meeting, representing <b>33.57%<\/b> of the issued and outstanding shares of the Company as of the record date.<\/p>\n<p>Shareholders overwhelmingly approved all items of business before them, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Setting the number of directors at five;<\/li>\n<li>The election of each of Chad Williams, John G. Tait, Kettina Cordero, David Christie, and Paolo Cattelan to the Board of Directors;<\/li>\n<li>The reappointment of the Company&#8217;s auditors;<\/li>\n<li>And the approval of the new 10% rolling stock option plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All resolutions were passed with strong shareholder support, with each director receiving over <b>99.9%<\/b> of votes cast in favour, and over <b>97%<\/b> approval for the Company&#8217;s stock option plan (excluding insider-held shares, in accordance with TSXV rules).<\/p>\n<p>The Company thanks its shareholders for their continued confidence and support.<\/p>\n<p><b>About Orbec<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Orbec is a gold company that owns 100% of a large and highly prospective mineral claim position near Chibougamau, Qu\u00e9bec. The Muus Project covers approximately 25,250 hectares in the northeastern part of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. Muus is prospective for gold mineralisation and is adjacent to and on strike with IAMGOLD&#8217;s 8.3 million oz Nelligan Gold Project. Orbec has announced that exploration of the Muus Gold Project will advance in technical collaboration with IAMGOLD, which owns approximately 8.3% of the Company.
