Why did you choose Sikandar? I really liked the story and the way the screenplay moves. It has everything – strong emotions, action, pain, angst and even humor. With A.R. Murugadoss directing, the film captures all the emotions beautifully, and that made me want to be a part of it<\/p>\n
The film features a powerful line: \u201cDestiny did not make me Sikandar, I carved myself\u2026\u201d Would you say that mirrors your own journey? I don\u2019t believe anyone on this Earth is truly self-made. If my father, Salim Khan, hadn\u2019t come to Mumbai from Indore, I wouldn\u2019t be where I am today.<\/p>\n
Did you have to go through any special preparations – physical or emotional – for your role in Sikandar? What was the most challenging part for you? Action films always need preparation training, fitness, rehearsals. But more than that, for Sikandar I had to get into the emotional side of the character. Action is easy for me, I enjoy it. But making people feel the emotion behind Sikandar\u2019s actions was the tough part. You want the audience to feel the man, not just the hero.<\/p>\n
The film is now reaching every household with its World Television Premiere on Zee Cinema. What message would you like to give viewers before they tune in? Just sit with your family, have your food, relax and watch Sikandar on Zee Cinema. I hope you like it, enjoy the action, and feel the emotions.
