As India continues to be a melting pot of heritage, food, and breathtaking destinations, Sony SAB artists Rajat Verma, Rishi Saxena, Karuna Pandey, Ashi Singh and Abhishek Verma reflect on their favorite travel memories and the joy of exploring our incredible country. From hidden gems to iconic tourist spots, these heartfelt recollections capture their passion for travel and the cultural diversity that makes India truly unique.<\/p>\n
Rajat Verma, who essays the role of Virat in Itti Si Khushi, said: \u201cI\u2019m from India\u2019s capital city, Delhi, a place that\u2019s as historic as it is vibrant. During my college days, my friends and I would often hang out at Hauz Khas, which became quite the hotspot after Rockstar! We loved exploring Qutub Road near the iconic Qutub Minar. Delhi, of course, is incomplete without its food from Chandni Chowk\u2019s legendary non-veg treats and dahi bhallas, to CP\u2019s bustling caf\u00e9s, Karol Bagh\u2019s irresistible chole bhature, and the unbeatable street food of West Delhi. Trust me, once you taste it, you\u2019ll be hooked for life!\u201d<\/p>\n
Rishi Saxena, who plays Sanjay in Itti Si Khushi, shared: \u201cI\u2019m from Jaipur, a city celebrated for its rich food and stunning architecture. Of course, Jaipur is home to landmarks like Hawa Mahal and Amer Fort, along with bustling bazaars such as Johri and Bapu Bazaar, a true paradise for shoppers. While I don\u2019t visit the bazaars too often myself, I know how much travelers love their vibrant charm. And as a foodie, I can\u2019t leave out Jaipur\u2019s culinary gem, ghevar. The malai ghevar, in particular, is my all-time favorite; for me, it captures the authentic essence of Jaipur in every bite.\u201d<\/p>\n
Karuna Pandey, who plays Pushpa in Pushpa Impossible, said: \u201cTraveling is very important to me. Though I haven\u2019t had the time in recent years, childhood was full of travel because my father was in the army, and we got posted to new places every two years. We saw so much of India, its food, culture, and people, and those memories are still with me. My favorite destination is Kodaikanal; it holds such beautiful memories with my parents, sister, and our German Shepherd, Sherry. India is so rich in culture, history, and natural beauty. If I had to pick, I\u2019d say Dehradun, Udhampur, Chennai, and Kodaikanal are closest to my heart. Travel allows you to discover new things about yourself, and I think everyone should experience solo travel at least once.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ashi Singh, who essays the role of Kairi in Ufff\u2026Yeh Love Hai Mushkil, said: \u201cI absolutely love traveling, it\u2019s my way of recharging and finding balance. Hill stations have a special place in my heart; destinations like Manali and Mussoorie instantly bring me peace. For me, travel is about more than just sightseeing, it\u2019s about soaking in nature, savoring local food, and wandering through the streets to experience how people truly live. I believe every journey teaches you something new, not just about the world but about yourself too. Even when I travel for shoots, I make it a point to explore the local markets and taste regional specialities. It\u2019s my little way of connecting with the soul of a place and its people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rajasthan will always be a favorite, I love exploring majestic forts like Mehrangarh and Amer, and losing myself in the soulful rhythm of local folk music. I\u2019m equally fond of road trips, whether it\u2019s the Jaipur\u2013Delhi stretch or the breezy coastal drives in Goa. Food, of course, is a huge part of my journeys; I always seek out local recommendations to taste dishes that are truly authentic to the region. Travel, in every sense, keeps me both inspired and grounded.\u201d<\/p>\n
