Hyderabad, January 28th<\/sup>, 2026:<\/strong>\u00a0The courts at Cross Courts, Gandipet, came alive with energy, colour, and community spirit as\u00a0Secunderabad Round Table 33 (SRT 33)<\/b>, in association with\u00a0Secunderabad Ladies Circle 17 (SLC 17)<\/b>, successfully hosted the second edition of the\u00a0\u2018Pickle in Pink\u2019<\/b><\/em>\u00a0charity pickleball tournament. The event seamlessly blended competitive sport with social purpose, raising substantial funds for community service initiatives.<\/p>\n

With an impressive turnout of over 300 participants and spectators, the venue transformed into a vibrant, carnival-like hub. Alongside thrilling matches, attendees enjoyed engaging games, food stalls, and a festive atmosphere united by a shared cause. The signature pink theme underscored breast cancer awareness, complemented by a free cancer screening camp conducted by Arete Hospitals. Proceeds from the event will be utilised to build educational infrastructure for students at a ZPHS school.<\/p>\n

The tournament witnessed intense competition across categories, reflecting the surging popularity of pickleball in Hyderabad. After a day of gruelling rallies and tactical play,\u00a0Mayank Shete<\/strong>\u00a0and<\/strong>\u00a0Rushil Gupta<\/strong>\u00a0emerged victorious, displaying exceptional skill and sportsmanship. In a closely contested final, they beat\u00a0Abhishek Yelagani\u00a0<\/strong>and<\/strong>\u00a0Gopi Nathiddy<\/strong>\u00a0in a 2\u20131 thriller, with scores of\u00a08\u201311, 11\u201310, and 11\u20132<\/strong>, earning resounding applause from the crowd.<\/p>\n
