The company plans to increase its total number of stations to 71 significantly strengthening fuel accessibility across key transport corridors.<\/p>\n The Transporters\u2019 Meet, held in the presence of Mrs. Amaninder Kaur Brar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar, brought together senior district officials and key representatives from the transport community at a time when rising fuel prices and worsening air quality are emerging as dual challenges for the sector.<\/p>\n During the session, THINK Gas officials highlighted that fleet operators switching to CNG could potentially save approximately \u20b95,60,000 \/- per vehicle annually, depending on vehicle category and running patterns. For a mid-sized fleet of 10, this could translate into annual savings of nearly \u20b950 lakh, offering both environmental and economic incentives for transporters.<\/p>\n Sharing his experience, Mr. Satish Sachdeva, Director \u2013 Suvidha Transport, who recently converted 05 trucks to CNG, stated that operational costs have reduced by approximately 20 % , while engine performance and maintenance expenses have improved. He noted that the transition process was smooth due to expanding infrastructure and technical guidance, encouraging fellow transporters to evaluate the long-term financial benefits of CNG adoption.<\/p>\n Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Amaninder Kaur Brar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar, said, \u201cAdopting cleaner and sustainable fuel alternatives is no longer a choice but a necessity as our cities faces rising air pollution.
