The annual conference and 01 day training workshop of ATA was held at Kalinga Convention Hall, Panthanivas, Bhubaneswar yesterday on 24 may 2026. A total of 120 district- and block-level Twitter activists and representatives from various parts of Odisha participated in the conference.<\/p>\n
As the Chief Guest, Athagarh MLA Ranendra Pratap Swain attended the event. Special guests included Mr. N.A. Sah Ansari, Director of Radio Namaskar, and globally recognized biodiversity expert Professor Rabindra Nath Pati.<\/p>\n

Hon\u2019ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha Mrs. Pravati Parida and IT & Health Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling could not attend due to prior engagements; however, through written and video messages, they conveyed their heartfelt greetings on the occasion of ATA\u2019s 5th Annual Conference and Workshop. They appreciated ATA\u2019s remarkable initiative of acting as the voice of grassroots citizens by bringing public grievances to the notice of the government and helping secure quick resolutions for the people.<\/p>\n
Former Air Force officer Coach Vabani Sankar Samantray, as a special guest, conducted an intensive three-hour special training session for all participants during the second session.<\/p>\n
Chief Guest Mr. Ranendra Pratap Swain, in his address, highlighted the growing necessity, future potential, importance, influence, and capabilities of the X (formerly Twitter) platform. He emphasized that active cooperation and genuine intent from the government are essential for effective citizen engagement through such digital platforms.<\/p>\n
Other distinguished guests, in their speeches, praised ATA activists for their courageous initiatives, unique identity, modern and revolutionary thinking, and their ability to help citizens resolve issues directly from home through mobile technology. They described ATA as a strong bridge between the government and the people and wished for the organization\u2019s continued growth and success.<\/p>\n
The event was anchored by young journalist Bikash Barik. The conference was coordinated by President Dipak Pradhan, Secretary Manas Rath, core committee members Sachin Gochhayat, Bipin, Jitendra, Geetanjali, Mamata, Sachidananda, Harish Chandra, Laxmi, Jagannath, Debendra, Biswajit, Rashmita, Chandini, Aman, Sabyasachi, Aravinda, Santosh, Sushant, along with representatives from Sambalpur and Balasore regions.<\/p>\n
This conference once again reinforced ATA\u2019s role as a people-centric digital movement working to strengthen communication between citizens and government systems.<\/p>\n
