Born in Tamil Nadu in 1935, Varadarajan studied at the Government College of Arts and Crafts under K. C. S. Paniker and emerged as an important figure within modern Indian art. Influenced by Surrealism and Automatism, he developed a visual language that balanced spontaneity with emotional depth.<\/p>\n
