Her brilliance and talent would have remained hidden but for this intimate telling by flute-player Nityanand Haldipur, disciple and gatekeeper to the legendary musician. He lets us into his world step by step telling the fascinating story of a famously gifted musician, guru, woman and wife whose artistic and personal life took unexpected turns over and over, leaving one in awe and profoundly moved.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Best Indian Short Fiction Film (upto 30 min.):\u00a0<em>Salt<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>\u2018Salt\u2019<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0directed by\u00a0<strong>Barkha Prashant Naik\u00a0<\/strong>bagged the Silver Conch award for Best Indian Short Fiction Film (upto 30 min.)<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>in National Competition section. In just 11 minutes, Barkha manages to explore the tender inter generational understanding of sexuality in an unusual and refreshing way as the duo learns to navigate life moving forward.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Best Indian Animation Film:\u00a0<em>Nirjara<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>\u2018Nirjara\u2019<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0directed by\u00a0<strong>Gaurav Pati\u00a0<\/strong>won the Silver Conch award for\u00a0<strong>Best Indian Animation Film\u00a0<\/strong>in National Competition section. It\u2019s truly exceptional how this well written and accomplished dramaturgy in just 7 minutes, allows us to examine the nuanced relationship of a younger born and his elder brother invoking emotional resonance seldom explored in Indian animation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Special Jury Mention:\u00a0<em>A Coconut Tree<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>\u2018A Coconut Tree\u2019<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0directed by\u00a0<strong>Joshy Benedict\u00a0<\/strong>won the Special Jury Mention.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/AC-1368HN.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With this Special Mention the Jury highlighted, how this stunningly beautiful animation short addresses the severe and urgent topic of migration and climate change.
