This Tug is a proud flag bearer of\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cMake in India\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0initiative of Govt of India.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Contract for construction and delivery of\u00a0three\u00a025T BP Tug was concluded with M\/s\u00a0Shoft Shipyard Pvt Ltd\u00a0(M\/s\u00a0SSPL), an MSME, in consonance with \u2018<strong><em>Aatmanirbhar Bharat\u2019<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0initiative of the Government of India. These Tugs are being built under the classification rules of Indian Register of Shipping (IRS). The availability of Tugs will provide impetus to Operational commitments of\u00a0<strong><em>IN<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by facilitating assistance to Naval ships and submarines\u00a0<strong>during berthing and un-berthing, turning and manoeuvring in confined waters<\/strong>.
