President Smt Droupadi Murmu conferred 10 Kirti Chakras (seven posthumous) and 26 Shaurya Chakras (seven posthumous) to the personnel of the Armed Forces, Central Armed Police Forces and State\/Union Territory Police during Defence Investiture Ceremony (Phase-1) at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on July 05, 2024. The awards were given to the personnel for displaying conspicuous gallantry, indomitable courage and extreme devotion to duty.
