In village Kundakala of Gangoh police station area of Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, a family of Valmiki community has accused the people of the Muslim community of the village of forcefully converting them. It has also been said that the accused have also threatened to capture the land and murder. 55-year-old Dheera has said in the complaint given in the police station that in the village Kundakala, people of Hindu community have only one house and the entire village belongs to the people of Muslim community. Due to which people of Muslim community have been continuously harassing the people of Hindu family. After this, the police took immediate action and arrested two people.
Giving information on the whole matter, Saharanpur SP Dehat Sagar Jain said that there is a dispute going on between the two communities regarding land for a long time, in which complaint was received earlier also. But this entire matter is being investigated thoroughly. Whereas Dheera says that he supports his family by working as a labourer. His ancestors lived in village Kunda. In 1967, Kundakala was submerged by the flood waters of Yamuna river. After this, his ancestors and the entire village settled in the area of Dhalavali. He has been living in the said populated land since birth.
At present, the police have arrested the accused in this case and started investigation. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police is also exercising caution.
