Max Furn traces its roots to 2002, when founders Syed Tanveer and Syed Shabbir, from The Majestic Furniture Group in Chennai, began their journey in furniture retail. What started as a small retail store in Royapettah, Chennai, has evolved into one of South India’s most prominent furniture manufacturers, importers, and retail brands.
“Our journey in Bangalore began in 2017 with a modest distribution center in Byrathi. Today, we proudly operate three massive furniture malls, with this new Nelamangala location being the largest yet,” shared Mr. Syed Tanveer, Director at Max Furn.
Key Milestones in Max Furn’s Journey
- 2022: The launch of the first flagship Furniture Mall in Hoskote, 30,000 sq. ft.
- 2024: A second Furniture Mall in Yelahanka, spanning 24,000 sq. ft.
- 2025: The third and largest Furniture Mall in Nelamangala, 34,000 sq. ft., with an additional 10,000 sq. ft. under construction.

Additionally, Max Furn operates exclusively through its own stores in Bangalore and does not supply to other retailers in the city. Beyond Bangalore, Max Furn supplies its premium furniture across South India.
Launch Offers and Future Plans
To celebrate this milestone, Max Furn is offering up to 60% off on selected furniture across all three Bangalore stores for one week only. Additionally, an exchange offer provides customers with flat 10–12% discounts on old furniture, making it easier to upgrade their homes with Max Furn’s latest designs.
Looking ahead, Max Furn is already eyeing further expansion. “We plan to open two or three more stores in Bangalore and expand into cities like Mysore and Belgaum in the next six months,” shared Mr. Shabbir, Co-Founder and Director.
