Anand Utsav Draws Enthusiasts to a Night of Classical Dance at Rabindra Mandap

Bhubneswar:- The Anand Utsav-2025 organized by the state’s leading Odissi dance institute Kalingayana Touryatrikam was held at the local Rabindra Mandap. At the beginning of the festival, the institute’s leading Odissi dancers along with the artists performed classical Odissi dances and captivated the audience.

Jagatsinghpur MP Bibhu Prasad Tarai joined the event as the guest of honour and appreciated the efforts of Guru smt.Puspita Mishra. On this occasion, Odissi dance guru Meenakshi Behera and Guru Sarat kumar Das were awarded the ‘Anandashree Samman’ and Guru Dway was honored with a puspa abhishekam .Biju Patnaik College student Bidusmita Ojha was awarded the institute’s founder Professor Raj Kishore Mishra Smriti Samman. Badal Patnaik was awarded the institute’s Gaurav Samman as the best guardian.

In the Evening session, North MLA Sushant Kumar Raut, Chief Trustee Ansuman Mishra gave the keynote address and presented the certificate and memento to the artist. Professor Dr. Murtunjaya Rath staged the event and Guru smt.Puspita Mishra gave the vote of thanks.
