
The 65th State Conference of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Kashi, is being held from December 29 to 31, 2025 at Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, in the temporary township ‘Rani Abbakka Nagar.’ On the second day of the conference, a keynote session was organized on the theme “Changing Landscape of Campuses and Our Role,” where ABVP’s National Organising Secretary Shri Ashish Chauhan delivered an insightful and guiding address. Parallel sessions were also conducted, featuring strong ideological engagement and detailed deliberations by student leaders and delegates. Following the session, a grand Shobha Yatra extending nearly 4 kilometers was taken out from Mohammad Hasan P.G. College to T.D. College, passing through the city’s major routes. The Shobha Yatra received an overwhelming welcome from the citizens of Jaunpur at all key intersections, marked by flower showers and energetic slogans.
The conference began on December 29, 2025, with participation from approximately 850 karyakartas and student leaders representing 18 organisational districts of Kashi. The first day included the hoisting of the organisational flag, the collective singing of Vande Mataram, the presentation of the State Secretary’s report, a keynote address, and the election process for the new State President and State Secretary, Kashi. During the delegates’ session, four major resolutions were introduced for suggestions and feedback namely ‘Vacant seats and delayed admission processes in Central and State Universities are a serious concern,’ ‘150 Years of Vande Mataram: The Eternal Call of National Consciousness,’ ‘From Screen Time to Green Time: A Balanced Life Initiative,’ and ‘From Borderland to Empowerment: A Vision for the Bright Future of Sonbhadra.’ These resolutions will be formally adopted on the next day after incorporating the valuable suggestions received from the house.
The Shobha Yatra reflected the spirit of Unity in Diversity, powerfully expressed through the slogan “Different languages, different attires, yet one nation.” Throughout the Shobha Yatra, the streets of Jaunpur echoed with inspiring slogans such as ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Bharat Mata Ek Hamari,’ reinforcing the message of national integration. The Shobha Yatra concluded at T.D. College after passing through Kotwali Crossing, Qila Road, Keertikunj, Olandganj, and JECES Square.
After the Shobha Yatra, an Open Session was organised at the T.D. College Ground under the leadership of ABVP National Secretary Shri Abhay Pratap Singh, where student representatives from different districts delivered impactful speeches on education, social issues, youth leadership, the growing threat of Bangladeshi infiltration, and the initiative ‘Operation Sindoor.’ The open session was also addressed by the newly elected State President, Kashi Dr. Mahendra Tripathi and State Secretary, Kashi Shivam Singh, who inspired the delegates with their vision and organisational roadmap.
Among the key speakers, Abhay Pratap Singh spoke on challenges in academic institutions, Shivam Singh highlighted concerns on Bangladeshi infiltration and its national implications, Priyanshu Verma delivered a strong address on ‘Today’s Youth, Tomorrow’s Nation-Builders,’ Shivbabu Chaudhary emphasised prevention of food adulteration, and R. Chitra presented a powerful narrative on women’s empowerment through ‘Empowered Women, Prosperous India.’ The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by State President Dr. Mahendra Tripathi, marking the successful completion of the day’s proceedings.
