Chennai, March 1, 2026: FICCI FLO Chennai hosted the prestigious Women Achiever’s Award 2025–26 on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the grand ballroom of ITC Grand Chola. The evening celebrated exceptional women who have made meaningful contributions across diverse fields, embodying the spirit of leadership, resilience and impact.
The event was led by Chairperson Niyati A. Mehta, whose vision for the year focused on recognising women who are driving transformation and inspiring change within their communities and industries.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Palki Sharma, noted anchor and journalist, who applauded the awardees for their perseverance and path-breaking achievements. In her address, she highlighted the importance of amplifying women’s voices and celebrating stories of determination that inspire future generations.

Each awardee was recognised for her outstanding commitment, innovation, and sustained impact in her respective domain. The awards underscored FICCI FLO Chennai’s continued commitment to empowering women and fostering leadership across sectors.
The awards were adjudicated by an eminent and diverse jury panel comprising Mrs. Usha Krishna, Bengaluru-born entrepreneur, IIM Ahmedabad alumna, former President of the World Crafts Council and Past FLO President; Rajeev Mecheri, serial entrepreneur, angel investor and Co-founder of Invicara & TwinIt; and Deepa Sathiaram, globally acclaimed sustainability and wellness design leader, USGBC LEED Fellow and Global WELL AP of the Year. Bringing together expertise across entrepreneurship, technology, sustainability and social impact, the jury ensured a rigorous, transparent and merit-based selection process, recognising women whose achievements demonstrate excellence, leadership and meaningful contribution to society.
The evening brought together prominent members of the business community, entrepreneurs, professionals, and thought leaders, creating a vibrant platform to celebrate achievement and inspire collaboration.
The Women Achiever’s Award 2025–26 stands as a testament to FICCI FLO Chennai’s mission “ The Power to Empower “ honouring women who lead with purpose and create meaningful change.

About Ms. Niyati Mehta
A dynamic entrepreneur and accomplished jeweller. A management graduate from Goa University, Niyati refined her creative edge as a trained jewellery designer under India’s top expert, Rajeshwari Iyer, through the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council.
As Design Head at Mehta Jewellery,a legacy brand with over 114 years of excellence,Niyati brings both tradition and innovation to the table. She also founded Aurea, her own fashion jewellery line, known for its curated, contemporary designs.
An active member of FICCI FLO Chennai, she has served in key leadership roles including Secretary and DNI Vertical Head, retreat head , to driving initiatives from marketplace development to interstate logistics. Her commitment extends to community service through Ladies Circle India and the Inner Wheel Club of Madras.
