Gurgaon, April 24th, 2026: Lotus Petal Senior Secondary School marked its 4th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and elegance, celebrating its journey of growth and excellence under the theme “Celebrating Legacy, Rising with Excellence.” The event brought together students, faculty, and distinguished guests in a vibrant showcase of talent, achievement, and institutional pride.
The program commenced at 9:30 a.m. with a warm welcome address followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment. A melodious welcome song set a harmonious tone for the day, reflecting the spirit of unity and gratitude.
The Guest of the Day Mr. Bisht from a reputed pharmaceutical company was formally introduced and felicitated, adding prestige to the occasion. The Principal- Ms. Srividya Sridhar addressed the gathering, highlighting “The school’s accomplishments and reaffirming its commitment to holistic education. This was followed by an engaging dance performance showcasing the journey of Lotus Petal Foundation that captivated the audience.”
A significant highlight of the event was the award distribution for the Top 5 scorers and the subject toppers of the First CBSE Batch of Lotus Petal Senior Secondary School. LPSSS has secured an astounding victory with all the students achieving a 100% pass percentage in the CBSE Board Exams. The felicitation was followed by the award ceremonies across all the wings—Pre-Primary, Primary, and Senior. Students who demonstrated exceptional academic performance were recognized as class toppers, celebrating their dedication and hard work. The inclusion of the awardees from the Lotus Petal Word Championship league (an initiative to boost linguistic skills) further underscored the school’s focus on comprehensive excellence.
The cultural segment continued with a theatrical performance, showcasing the students’ creativity and confidence. The Chief Guest, in their address, appreciated the institution’s efforts in nurturing young minds and encouraged students to strive for excellence in all spheres. The address by the Founder-Mr Kushal Raj Chakravorty added a reflective and inspiring dimension, tracing the journey of the institution and its vision for the future.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem, bringing the celebration to a dignified close. Lotus Petal Foundation was founded in 2011 by an alumnus of IIM and has been working in the areas of Education, Nutrition, Livelihood, and Skill development. Promoting the idea of quality education for unprivileged children and cater to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) of providing quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, reduced inequalities and building sustainable cities and communities, Lotus Petal Foundation is building an integrated educational and skill development campus named Lotus Petal Sr. Sec. School (LPSSS). The campus is primarily based on the idea of sustainable development with state-of-the-art infrastructure located at Dhunela, Sohna, Gurugram, spread over 5 acres, with a carpet area of 2,10,000 sq. ft.
