Chennai, August 2026: This Krishna Jayanti, The Kitchen by Chef Deepa brings the warmth and joy of festive celebrations to the dining table with a specially curated vegetarian menu designed for intimate gatherings with family and friends.
Available for both lunch and dinner, the Krishna Jayanti menu combines familiar Indian flavours with festive favourites, making it an easy and indulgent way to celebrate the occasion at home.
The meal begins with Golden Squash Shorba and a refreshing Ambi Kiwi Panna, followed by an assortment of starters including Malai Paneer Tikka, Corn Kebab and Samosa. The main course features a generous spread of Paneer Makhani, American Corn Palak, Aloo Mutter, Dal Makhani and Vegetable Biryani, accompanied by Ajwani Laccha Paratha, Boondi Raita, Papad and Salad. The meal concludes on a sweet note with Phirnee.
Adding a special touch to the festivities is a Krishna favourite, fresh white butter (Makhan) available in quantities of 50g, 100g and 200g, celebrating the playful and much loved association of Lord Krishna with makhan.
The specially curated menu is available in portions suitable for different gathering sizes, making it ideal for both small family celebrations and larger festive get-togethers.
Krishna Jayanti Special Menu Pricing:
- For 2 guests: ₹2,100 + GST
- For 4–5 guests: ₹3,500 + GST
- For 10–12 guests: ₹7,000 + GST
Delivery charges will be applicable on actuals.
Importantly, the entire menu can also be prepared without onion and garlic for those observing traditional festive dietary preferences. This option is available with advance notice at the time of ordering.
