The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the indicative notification (CEN No. 07/2026) for the RRB NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment 2026. Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have successfully passed Class 12 (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
2. Age Limit (as on Jan 1, 2027)
- General / Unreserved: 18 to 30 years
- Age Relaxations: Upper age limit relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, ESM, and other eligible categories as per Government of India rules.
Complete Selection Process
The selection for RRB NTPC Undergraduate posts is conducted in five sequential stages:
1.Computer Based Test 1 (CBT-1):Screening Test.
A preliminary computer-based exam testing General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning. This stage screens candidates for CBT-2.
2.Computer Based Test 2 (CBT-2):Main Examination.
A second-stage online examination with advanced difficulty. Marks obtained here determine shortlisting for skill tests or document verification.
3.Typing Skill Test:Post-Specific Skill Test.
Applicable specifically for Junior Clerk Cum Typist and Accounts Clerk Cum Typist positions to test typing speed in English or Hindi.
4.Document Verification (DV):Certificate Verification.
Verification of original educational mark sheets, caste/category certificates, identity proof, and age documentation.
5.Medical Examination:Medical Assessment.
Conducted by Railway Health Authorities to ensure candidates meet post-specific medical standards (A-2, B-2, or C-2).
Application Fee & Refund Terms
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹500
(₹400 is refunded after deducting bank charges upon appearing in CBT-1)
- SC / ST / PwBD / ESM / Female / Transgender / Minorities / EBC: ₹250
