The expansion across Tamil Nadu will strengthen access to banking and financial services
Tamil Nadu, October 2026: Ujjivan Small Finance Bank (Ujjivan SFB) today announced the opening of 4 new branches across 4 locations in the state Tamil Nadu. The breakup is as follows 2 branches around Madurai at Ilayangudi & Pudhukottai location, 2 branches around Cuddalore at Kattumannarkoil & Thittakudi locations. With these 4 branches been launched the total no of branches opened in Tamil Nadu is 98, further strengthening its presence and expanding access to formal banking and financial services across the region.
The expansion is expected to generate approx. 38 new employment opportunities and will enable customers across the region to access a comprehensive suite of banking and financial products and services, including Individual Loan & Group Loans. The new branches will cater to the diverse financial needs of Micro Finance Customers, while strengthening the Bank’s reach across Tamil Nadu.
