Lucknow. A girl resident of Sadar Bazar police station of Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh has filed a divorce case against constable Shamshad, resident of Thakurdwara, Moradabad. In the report recorded after the court order, the girl told that she had started a conversation with a young man named Shamshad on social media. During the conversation, the young man told that he is posted in Muzaffarnagar police station as a constable. After this we started talking on video call. Where the accused youth used to get her stripped on video call.
The girl alleges that the constable did not even take photos and videos of the girl in an objectionable state. He pressurized the girl to have physical relations without marriage. On July 22, the accused constable came to the girl’s house and got married. When the girl asked about going to her in-laws’ house, the accused youth Shamshad refused to send her away saying that he had SI papers. After the SI paper was over, the accused youth Shamshad also stopped talking to the victim girl on mobile.
Later, Shamshad made a video call to the girl on 23 December 2023 and pronounced her divorce thrice. When the girl protested against this, the young man threatened her and said that he himself was in the police department. If I put too much pressure for marriage, I will get implicated in a false case. After hearing about the threat, the girl filed a complaint against the young man in Sadar police station. There was no hearing for the girl and the distressed girl approached the court. Where after the order of the court, a report of the girl was lodged in the police station. At present the police is busy investigating this matter.
