Hindu girl made victim of love jihad, now pressure is being created for conversion

Lucknow. A case of love jihad has come to light in Sonbhadra, UP. A Muslim youth posing as Rohan Rai lured a girl into love on Facebook. After this the young man married the Bargalkar girl in the temple. Police have arrested the accused in this case.

Befriended a Hindu girl by hiding her identity in Robertsganj Kotwali police station area of Sonbhadra. After this the young man forcibly converted and got married. The victim girl told that the accused belongs to the Muslim community. He created his ID on Facebook with the name Hindu and even in conversations he calls himself a Hindu. The victim told that last year the accused had sent her a request on Facebook. When she accepted, the accused first started talking on messenger and both of them became friends.

During this, the accused told his address as Ghaziabad and also told about working in Delhi. He had told that his relatives live in Churk, Sonbhadra. The victim said that to win her trust, the accused accompanied her to many temples and also performed puja. Similarly, seven-eight months passed and she became pregnant. During this time, the real identity of the accused also came to light. In this his real name is Shahzeb son of Rizwan.

Jurisdiction Rahul Pandey told that a Muslim boy Shahnaz Hussain converted his religion and married a Hindu girl. Based on his mother’s complaint, the accused has been arrested and sent to jail after registering a case of religious conversion and dowry harassment.
